Hello, there! I’m Christopher, which you should have known if you saw my cute little green logo. So, let me not distract you from the following post. I hope you like it! I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’re done reading it! Enjoy!
We should show the world that we are different and that we love God. We should show that we are excited about our faith. In doing so, they notice the difference in us.
When we became Christians, God put his Spirit in our lives. Now, we become a light in the darkness. We show the world that we are changed. We are made brand new.
Now, our life is totally different. Our lifestyles are changed and we are kinder to others because we now care. Now, God gave us a purpose in life. And others see that. And we use our words to communicate that message to others.
But what happens when our words and actions don’t line up? Then we aren’t a good testimony.
All that I said above is good, but I want to talk about something else: How enthusiastic we are about our faith. We should be radiant about Jesus and what he’s done for us. As I said, we should be glowing because we know who saved us. And we want to talk about him and with him. We should be in love with Jesus!
It’s like being in love with a boy/girl. You tell everyone about him/her and always want to talk with him/her. I believe we should have that same attitude with God. We should want to tell everyone about him and always want to talk to him.
We also should want to know God better! Like one would want to know more about his crush, we should be studying the Word of God and praying. In that way, we can learn more about Him and his nature. We are encouraged to live our lives purely and we will be able to give an answer to those who question us about our beliefs.
So, let’s strengthen our relationship with our Father and be enthusiastic about him!
Recently, I listened to Robert Thacker’s “A Search For Truth” and this devotion was an inspiration of one of the characters. So I planned to release the review and devotion on the same week. Well, “Good Plans Went Wrong” and the review will be postponed for next week.
Hello again! I’m so happy you finished reading my post, and, boy, do I hope you liked it!
