Hello, there! I’m Christopher, which you should have known if you saw my cute little green logo. So, let me not distract you from the following post. I hope you like it! I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’re done reading it! Enjoy!
So, as God’s Thespian/MimeForJesus (whatever her name is) knows, I am a pretty big Go Fish fan! Go Fish is in my top five favorite bands! I really suggest you go and check them out!
To show you how awesome they are, I am going to review their album “Kids Music.” It is their latest album, but they have released other songs for their VBSs (yes, that’s plural). I have NO idea whatsoever when they will release another album, but I shall review their “latest” album. Enjoy!
Wow, I really ramble, but I just want to say that I have done one music review before, but there were several CDs of my favorite band, check them out also. So this one is just one album and I shall go through every single song! I’m a little nervous, so please let me know how well I do. So let’s get grovin’!
My God: Wow, this is such a great song. I absolutely love it. This is such a great song to start out the album! It is one of my favorite songs! And it also has a great beat! You all need to hear it. They do another great remix of another classic song, and it presents a great message.
Glory: Another wonderful song. Giving glory to God is what we are supposed to do. And he has done so much for us! All glory and honor goes to God, amen! And, remember, life is about God, not us. And whatever we do should bring glory to God!
Fruit Of The Spirit: This song has a lot of great points! It reminds us to do what is right. The fruit helps us act correctly and how God helps us. Great song also!
Praise Your Name: This song is pretty cool also. But it repeats itself a tad too much. So it made it a little hard to enjoy. But there were some good lines.
Walk With God: This is one of the highlights! It’s such a wonderful song! It’s also the mellowest song on the album. But it’s so wonderful! I just love it! So very well done!
Jump (featuring DJ Pray-Z): This song is not really “CHRISTIAAAAAAAAN,” but it is the catchiest! Really, I used to sing it a lot! Anyways, it’s mostly a song about jumping. Ha, ha! (I was thinking about using an emoticon, but that seemed unprofessional, and so is this rabbit trail.) But it’s not the greatest song in the world.
Gotta Move: This song was originally on “Snazzy”, but was slightly fixed up and the first verse was different. And I like this version a whole lot better. I didn’t really like the “Snazzy” version. Of course, it would have been nice if they had kept the Andy stuff.
Fly Sally Fly: Uh, every album has its weak spots like “Jump,” and ditto with this song. It wasn’t a great song at all. All I know is that Go Fish’s “silly songs” aren’t that great. This is one of them and I don’t like this one. I’d say this is the weakest part of the album.
Shackles (Praise You): This song was originally released for the VBS “Praise.” It was the best song on there and it still is such a great song! This is the only song on the album that wasn’t written by Go Fish. But that‘s not problem, because it’s such a great song! A very great song! (Oh, Andy is in this album! Yeah!)
Kids Music: Oh, yeah! This song’s pretty awesome! This song makes puns of their album titles from the past in the first verse. That became an instant hit with my siblings. But also, the second verse talks about how they are doing their job for God and they don’t need the “Glory.” After all, they “Gotta Move” and they “Jump”ed and made some “Kids Music.”
In sum, great, great album! I enjoyed almost every single minute and “I Believe” you would like it too! After all, even “Kids Music” can “Shine” and become a “Superstar” among the adults! Seriously, this won’t make them “Snooze,” but instead make them “Party Like A Preschooler!” Wow, a bunch of puns, well I’m making quite “Splash!”
Everyone, get “Snazzy,” get ready to “Jump” to some awesome “Kids Music!”
(Wow, out of all those puns, I forgot to “Kick It Old School!” Ha, ha! I think I used all the album names except the Christmas ones. Anyways, all these puns would make me a “Superhero!”)
Hello again! I’m so happy you finished reading my post, and, boy, do I hope you liked it!
