Hello, there! I’m Christopher, which you should have known if you saw my cute little green logo. So, let me not distract you from the following post. I hope you like it! I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’re done reading it! Enjoy!
Who thought 2016 was a terrible year?
Join the movement.
When I first watched this video, I thought it would be a typical Blimey Cow sarcastic video when they do something like this. But I thought it was actually pretty good. I don’t ever know if I’ll have “the best year of my life” or “the worst year of my life.” While 2016 wasn’t the best year, it wasn’t terrible. There were so many good things that happened this year that were amazing, like moving to America, making new friends, and getting Trump elected. And there were some sad things that happened, like my bad moods, the one year anniversary of my grandma’s death, and the death of my grandpa in Korea.
Others will have different opinions. Some would have thought this year was amazing, and others not so much. That’s okay. We are all entitled to our different opinions. God gave us years to live and we should use them well. While some might be foolish to waste their time on godless things, we should never outrightly call a year “wasted for nothing,” right? (. . . unless you can come up with a good reason other than the one I mentioned.)
There was so much good that has happened in my life because we moved to America. I met my absolutely amazing friends: B, Josh, Emily, Jared, my youth pastor, and quite some others. I am so so so so so thankful for you people. Your friendship has been worth more than gold to me and I’m so glad that you consider me as your friend! It really touches my heart and I love you guys so much!
And I am personally glad that Trump got elected. While I don’t want to start fights in the comment section down below, I really don’t think Clinton could have done a good job. We’ll see what Trump has in store. He is going to be our president and we have to deal with it. So let us just put a little faith in him that at least he’ll do something right. (I’m reaching out to Democrats, of course. Obama was never #NotMyPresident.)
And I discovered a TON of awesome music this year! I dove into artists like Stryper, Skillet, and Theocracy, and so many others and I love them a ton!
And then there was the sad. I really do miss my grandma and Korean grandpa. Those deaths hit hard for the family and death changes things. But I thank God for his goodness.
I know 2016 wasn’t perfect, but it was still a year, and it was a good year.
Lord, I pray that 2017 will be a better year. I pray that people will have no fear in rising up and proclaiming your name, especially with a pro-religious president. I pray that wounds will be bound up in this country in your name. Let us heed your word. I want to see America change for the better.
Lord, I am very content where you have put me. I am so blessed to have met my new friends, and I am so happy that they have accepted me as their own. I am so blessed. It really makes my heart well over in happiness for this blessing. Please bless them greatly in return. And I pray that they will come to my website more often. :P
Lord, I am excited for what’s coming up for my website. I believe you are the author of good ideas, and I feel that I have a whole ton of good ideas coming my way. I am so excited for these and I pray that you’ll use my website to reach out to people, bless them, and reach others for Christ. I have no idea what you got in store, Lord, but all I know is that it’s going to be HUGE!
Lord, please help give me direction in my life, as I am to start college in the fall, and as I navigate the thoughts that do plague my mind. Please help me to sort them out and to just chill and trust you, Lord.
Bless everyone who have ever come to my website. I believe that I am a light in the darkness, giving hope to Christians and showing the lost the way. Thank you for my amazing readers.
You are amazing, Lord. In your name, Jesus, Amen.
Thanks for reading! I have high hopes for 2017, to a degree! If we do our part, it’s gonna be amazing!
Just one more piece of advice:
Just chill and trust Him.
Hello again! I’m so happy you finished reading my post, and, boy, do I hope you liked it!
