Hello, there! I’m Christopher, which you should have known if you saw my cute little green logo. So, let me not distract you from the following post. I hope you like it! I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’re done reading it! Enjoy!
A huge congrats to the Chicago Cubs for winning their first World Series in 108 years! That's amazing! (Okay, I know I'm a Yankee fan, but I have to give a nice handshake to 100 year old losers-turned-winners!) To celebrate that (and the election), I wanted to share this song from the MVP's wife!
I've had people repeatedly tell me that Donald Trump is not gonna bring the nation back to Christ. Yeah, I would agree. But I do believe he will allow us to have the freedom of religion and we'll feel better sharing the Gospel to other people. With him in office allowing religious tolerance (or should I say tolerance of Christianity), we should have no excuse sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. (Hillary Clinton wouldn't have helped one bit.)
But let's think for a moment. Alive. Alive for the first time. Aren't those just amazing words?
I don't want to see this country sinking deeper into it's slimy pit of sin. I want to see it rise up in victory back to Christ. We should make it our priority to share the good news of Jesus.
I honestly am struggling with this. I know a few people at the Y, but I am a little hesitant to share my faith. Really, I have no excuse.
Last Sunday was a day of remembrance for the persecuted church of Christ. Our church broke up into small groups and prayed for the church and the state of America.
Think of all those people who are willing to risk their lives to share the good news every day . . . while we can go through our days without a single word about Christ. Are we daft? We're not gonna get shot for saying the name Jesus, but we don't say it. Are we sane?
I'm not trying to shoot all Christians down. I just want to remind us all. There are people out there dying to spread the good news, while we don't do a single thing at times. Dontcha think we need to wake up?
This is just a reminder (for me as well). We should share the good news so others can have life as well.
I know that Donald Trump is not the Savior, but we Christians are called to be, shall I say, the saviors of the world. God is willing to use us to save the people, but are we willing to be used by God?
Hello again! I’m so happy you finished reading my post, and, boy, do I hope you liked it!
