Hello, there! I’m Christopher, which you should have known if you saw my cute little green logo. So, let me not distract you from the following post. I hope you like it! I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’re done reading it! Enjoy!
So today, Tenth Avenue North released their latest album, Followers! Their latest single has an amazing message.
I love this song so much. What does God want for my life? Am I willing to surrender my life for his plan? Am I willing to be a follower instead of a leader?
I remember there being a verse in the Bible reminding us that some were called to be leaders and teachers, while others were called to be other hands and feet in God's church.
And I look at myself. I'm a blogger releasing devotions and other "crazy, random thoughts." I am, technically, a leader. It just made me think.
I'm so glad that God called me to share my heart to you guys. I'm honored and blessed to see how you guys love my site and how others were impacted by my writing. That really does mean volumes to me. Thank you for your support. I want to be a man after God's own heart. This website is my journey on that path. We see how my thoughts progress and grow, especially on Christian vs. secular media (though I still stand that I only consume Christian media). I remember me being a little legalistic, but now I just share my thoughts and do my best to show you the light. (I wasn't intentionally being legalistic. It's just how I grew up and was shocked at some of the media some of you were consuming.)
I'm so grateful that God put me here to share my heart with you guys.
(One more quick thing, I really appreciate Christopher Green, who simply says that he posts his "thoughts" on his website, not "BAM" saying "These are devotions, and these aren't." It's just his thoughts. The reason why I post "devotions" is not because I am declaring me your pastor, though I did preach at two points of my life. I wrote these posts to help you think and hopefully to help your walk in Christ. "Devotions" was the word that came to my young mind two years ago. Yep! In one month, my website turns TWO!!!)
Hello again! I’m so happy you finished reading my post, and, boy, do I hope you liked it!
