Hello, there! I’m Christopher, which you should have known if you saw my cute little green logo. So, let me not distract you from the following post. I hope you like it! I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’re done reading it! Enjoy!
Everyone loves a good joke, right? The people who write a joke love to hear the fan’s reaction to it. But what a running joke? I’m talking about a joke like Say Goodnight Kevin’s “Am I Right?” Well, those can be a lot of fun! But fans can get tired of them, while people who have seen it only a few times love it. What can you do to keep the joke a joke for the old fans and a joke for the new fans to enjoy?
Well, you must keep the joke fresh. You might want to do it in a way that even the older fans won’t see it coming.
With that said, you could occasionally do different variations of the joke. And maybe you could, in time, add another element to the joke.
But remember, don’t do the joke every single chance you have. Do it when it is most appropriate. But when the joke is new, you may have the freedom to use it semi-frequently.
Remember, you want old fans to be entertained, but you want to bring in new fans into the premise.
Now thinking about it, I don’t really have any running jokes here on my website. I’ll be thinking of one! But, as you all may know, it’s possible that “Good Plans Went Wrong,” because I actually wrote this post in January!
Bonus: A (semi)Dirty Joke
This I am writing in March. One thing I don’t appreciate is “April Fools Day.” Why? Well, the whole day is a joke! It doesn’t exist!
Or, at least it shouldn’t.
I’m wondering what you all think. Is April Fools Day acceptable or not? Tell me in the comments below!
Hello again! I’m so happy you finished reading my post, and, boy, do I hope you liked it!
