Hello, there! I’m Christopher, which you should have known if you saw my cute little green logo. So, let me not distract you from the following post. I hope you like it! I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’re done reading it! Enjoy!
Okay, so I made an appeal to some commenters on my site due to my Q&As.
I told them that the “Why Ask Me” posts are quite popular, but I don’t get many questions to answer. And the column can’t survive without questions. So I asked for a few.
And so on day one, I got like six messages! I was quite happy! But I didn’t recognize any of the names. Then I took a look at the IP addresses and they were all the same. Either one person asked a ton of questions under different names, or a commenter had a ton of friends at his/her house and had a ton of questions for me. I think the first possibility is the most reasonable. I wasn’t able to pinpoint who it was, but I have a guess. But I won’t say who. I’m nice like that.
Anyways, I’ll answer these awesome questions from this one person first, and then in another post (hopefully next month), I’ll tackle the others.
But I do wanna say: keep asking questions!!! Just because I got this doesn’t mean I won’t be overwhelmed with questions forever. Keep it comin’!
Okay, here we go. Rianelizabeth K. (now I REALLY know that these names are made up!) has quite a few. The first: “Why make a blog?”
Good question, but why ask me?
I posted a post awhile ago entitled “I Got A Story – The Genesis Of My Website.” So that post should have the whole story for you. Use the search engine to find it. If it doesn’t answer the question, then submit the question again, and I’ll answer it soon in another post!
“Do you do any sports?” What the grammar! But if the grammar is fine, then: What the Christopher!
Why ask me?
I guess she’s trying to ask “Are you a good sport?” The answer is no. I am not a good sport. Who’d wanna play Christopherball? Or even 164ball? That’s a lot of balls!
But if she’s asking “What sports do you enjoy?” then the answer would be: I enjoy riding my bike and playing football is fun. But I never wanna go pro: too many injuries are at risk.
Next: Who’s “Peanut”?
What the grammar! The question mark is supposed to be inside the quotation mark! And: Why ask me?
A peanut is this nut that’s the size of a pea. Wait, that’s not the question. Huh. I need glasses.
Peanuts is this absolutely hilarious comic strip that has been presented in 2D and 3D animation movies and films. I’ve read a few comics and watch a few of those films and get quite a kick out of them!
That’s not the question??? What?
Oh, Peanut! He’s my baby brother! I made this big ordeal about him last month in April (before he was born) when I tied him in with the Dropbox and mentioned some trials we were going thru. (You can search “Crazy, Random Thoughts – Dropbox, Life, and Five.”) Now, he’s a happy baby who just recently turned six months old!!! Whee! He’s awesome! If you subscribe to the 164 Outsiders, I plan on sharing a few more pictures of him! (To sign up for the 164 Outsiders, go to “Fun” and enter in your Disqus username. Soon, I plan on changing that to email addresses, but I might not do that for a bit.)
Rianelizbeth continues to ask: “What’s your favorite season (e.g. winter, spring…)?
Why ask me?
Here, let me give you a grammar tip: noticed what whenever you do “…” that they seem to float in mid-air? Do you know what I do? “. . .” BOOM!
And, what does “e.g.” mean? I’m not gonna tease her for adding that, because that is a legit thing to say or write. I know what she means in this context, but I don’t know what it means for real. Anybody?
But isn’t that funny! Saying “Eeee, geee!”
I just looked it up in this notebook I have (with info that almost no one needs). It means “exempli gratia.” Ha, no wonder people resort to say “eeee, geee!”
Wait, it says that “exempli gratia” means “for example.” So, should I rewrite her question to: “What’s your favorite season? (f.e. winter, spring . . .)” That makes me happier.
My favorite season is not winter: it’s too cold! I’m sitting inside with my jacket on right now! If you look at some of my earlier thumbnails, you can see me wearing my jacket. Whoops, why did I say that?
My favorite season is not summer: it’s too warm! I’m not sitting inside with my t-shirt on right now! If you look at some of my earlier thumbnails, you can see me wearing my t-shirts. Whoops, why did I say that?
My favorite season might be spring, but the pollution is pretty heavy during the spring. We are neighbors to China, and China is like the king of pollution. For some reason, we get some of that pollution dominantly during the spring. Why, you ask. I answer: why ask me?
My favorite season might be fall. Do I have anything negative to say about fall? Not really, but to say about spring and fall that they’re tooooooo short and I can’t enjoy it.
I guess I like fall the best. But if I were in the States, then they might be tied.
Last question from Rianelizbeth: “What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?”
Uh, I don’t really know. I do need to think more about my future, but all I can say is that I wanna be where God wants me to be.
But I do wanna be in the media field, hopefully.
Next, we got a few questions from “Rosana A.” Funny last names y’all have!!! Mine is 164!
“What’s up with the number 164?” HOW . . .
Two options for you: look at the “About” page or look for the post “Crazy, Random Thoughts – Two Years Ago Today.” Who like Odyssey?
“Do you have a fav movie?”
Why ask me? I said I don’t really like movies! But there’s some I like!!!
One of my favorite Christian films is “The Secrets Of Jonathan Sperry,” which you can read my review of. I recently watched “What If” and enjoyed that. My favorite Pixar film is “Wall·E,” but “Up” is good too.
“Why did u pick Weebly for your blog?”
Check out the post “I Got A Story – The Genesis Of My Website.”
Okay, so I got six volleys from this IP address. The last three volleys only have one question each. I’m getting kinda tired (and this post is getting kinda long), so I’m gonna save those questions for next time. But they’re good ones!
So, I have three more questions, and these are from Mikaela T. Love your last name!
“What is your favorite novel to read?”
First I have to give my favorite movie to you all, next a novel? It just never ends! So I’ll just say “Why ask me?”
Uh, now I’m really getting tired. Well, I’ve been going thru the “Left Behind: The Kids” series, and that’s cool. Whenever I read a novel, I just read it non-stop. I also enjoyed the “Passages” and the “RPM” series. “Keeping Holiday” is a good book! There’s a ton of books, and I can’t remember them all. Oh, here: “Mandie” and the “Sugar Creek Gang” series are classic!
“Do you like blogging?” Duh, yes, I’ve been doing it for over a year and haven’t missed a Friday yet!
I do have some up and down times, but overall, I do enjoy blogging!
Lastly, “What’s your favorite food?” I really enjoy burgers, pizza, hot dogs, pasta, and some Korean foods. Those would be high on the list.
Okay, thanks y’all for reading! Send in those questions!
And I have one more thing to say: I have an announcement this Friday and a very special post next Friday! You really don’t wanna miss these. And don’t forget to share them around!
Hello again! I’m so happy you finished reading my post, and, boy, do I hope you liked it!
